Stay Notes

Sticky notes that float.

Stay Notes is a sticky-notes extension for Chrome. Float a note on top of everything while you work, and know your notes are safe: saved as you type and backed up to a folder you choose.

See what’s free How it works

Coming to the Chrome Web Store. Made for your computer: Chrome on Mac, Windows and Chromebook (and Edge, Brave and Opera). It doesn’t run on phones.

Simple, quick, and safe

Everything you expect from sticky notes, without the worry of losing them.

A note that floats

Float any note in a small window that stays on top of your other windows and apps, so a list or reminder is always in view.

Built not to lose notes

Saved as you type, with daily backups to a folder you choose (Dropbox or iCloud works too), Trash for 30 days, and earlier versions of each note.

Private by design

No account, no ads, no tracking. Your notes stay on your computer; nothing is sent to us.

Notes the way you like

Colors, labels, bold and highlights, checklists, pictures and screenshots, and an Important flag that keeps a note at the top.

Notes for a website

Pin a note to a site, like a shopping list to your grocery store’s site, and it shows up beside the page when you’re there.

Easy to read

Light and dark mode, adjustable text size, and a font designed for readers with low vision.
